Also is there a reason that you suggested thin crust? Will the pizza handle a thicker crust?

yes it will and can.I do authentic southern Italian thin crust and it is baked directly on the special stone that I put in the oven for temperature and taste purposes.

I need to know more about the oven, what dimensions are they? And what size and how many can you normally fit pizza wise.

I will check on exact dimensions .it can handle 2 12 inch on each deck easily I think I have tried 3 at one time but was difficult and tight .when oven is at proper temp cook time is approx. 5 min .might be a little longer with thick pan pizza which I also did focaccia style . I also made my own bread out of this oven .
