What is under the bamboo? I just spoke to an inspector here and told her I was planning a shaved ice business. She said the floors walls and ceiling but be smooth and non absorbant.

The walls are smooth and non absorbent. The bamboo is decorations which can be easily removed revealing smooth white walls. If you look at all the pictures you can see the part of the wall that is not covered.

What material is on the walls and ceiling? It does not look smooth and easy to clean as required by va health department code.

Bamboo, I am not sure what the health department told you but we have operated in Virginia for 25 years with no problems with any of our trailers. They must think it is a food trailer with grills and fryers.
