Would this be suitable for a kebab food trailer to be used on farmer markets and local events?
The size and portability are perfect for this and it was actually designed for farmers markets, local events, etc. It could work for kebabs as well as many other things.
Does this type of unit require to be parked at a commissary? I live in California.
We are also in California and have not been required to park at a commissary. It depends on your county and what your intended use is. We were set up to work various events such as street fairs, farmer's markets, etc and could house it and prep food in our garage/home. However it is my understanding that to use it as a "catering truck" one may need to keep that at a commissary. Best to check your local regulations.
Does it fold up? If so, how?
The top lowers down approximately 2 feet, so that the entire trailer is approximately 6 feet tall, from wheels to top of roof.
Has this been permitted in CA?
Yes, it has been permitted in California.
I am curious about the donut machine. Is it electric or gas? I'm assuming electric due to a lack of an ansul system. What are the specs?
Sorry to take so long to answer but we were not in the vicinity of the trailer and machinery. The donut machine s are electric. There are two machines. Both are Lil Orbit machines that make miniature donuts. One has the automatic features but is not working properly and is rather old. We are told that it can be hard wired to work properly again. The other is newer and functioning, but manual. I will try to add some pictures with the specs . If you have any other questions we are happy to help.
What kind of power does this set up require?
120 volt for all machinery
Does yellow pole in back come out & both tale gaits go down ?
The yellow pole does not come out, but could possibly be converted to do that at some time. The two back doors open outward and there is a ramp on the left side. Please see Photo #2 for detail.
