For sale in Indiana - Grumman Olsen Step Curb Master lunch / food truck. All stainless steel inside. Engine was rebuilt right before end of season. It has 20 miles on it. Truck is Mechanically sound. Automatic transmission and gas engine. It has some cosmetic issues, and the steam table would have to be refabricated or repaired. Description says that bubble top needs replacing, is it just the blue plastic bubbles that need replacing or whole roof? Also are there any known issues that would prevent this truck from making a 600 mile trip if purchased?
just the blue bubbles and not that I'm aware of. I would personally put new tires on it before attempting that kind of trip
coffee urns and hot water urn works?
I bought new parts for it but never finished repairing it because I didn't need it. it wouldn't take much to get it working again
how are the refrigeration units on the truck and are they all in working order?
they are cold plate style works great! inside is a 3 doors unit with the cold bar on top. Outside is a cooler style with wire shelf and soda cooler on the bottom.
Does the cabin area has a passenger seat?
no
Is there any notable structural rust that needs to be addressed? What condition is the trucks frame in? How many miles on the engine? Are there any electrical outlets for electric cooking appliances?
the truck is an 86 so it's got some rust but not much. it's mostly stainless steel noticable around the wheel wells. the fan doors need to be jacked up and welded back to the top of the truck so they will open up as high as they are supposed to and to stabilize the frame. The engine is rebuilt less than 30 miles. It's a good engine. These trucks are well built. Although it's in need of some repairs, Buyer needs to be willing to invest a little bit, but will end up with good return.

Yes it's 20 foot and is ready to go other than the steam table.

No.. I have an extinguisher especially for grease fires that comes with and it has the blowing vent system.

All front end underneath stuff ..u bolts, tie rods, ball joints, arm shackles, and control arm all were replaced in 2014
Is the transmission in good working order? Any issues with transmission whatsoever?
Yes it's in good shape.. The motor is brand new. No issues with it.
Are the propane lines in good working order? Are there propane tanks included?
Yes and the tank was special ordered for the truck when I bought it so it's brand new. The lines were tested and have no leaks.
Are there any mechanical issues with the truck?
It does need s new power steering pump and could use some exhaust work. Again the steam table on the inside needs welded, but I never used it. The reach through warmer has a new ignition switch that I have, but never installed because I didn't use that either. Other than that I can't think of anything else. We replaced so many things there shouldn't be other problems. I can replace the pump in it if need be. In my area there aren't many mechanics that can work on it so that's why it hasn't been done.
Can you please show a picture of the hand wash area? Is there a separate 4th sink for hand wash?
Yes it's right underneath the three bay sink.
Does the driver area of the truck open up to the back?
Yes it's a step van there is no cab area it's all open.
Does it have air conditioning?
No

Normal wear ..the truck is an 86 and broke a control arm horse shoe bolt. There were other issues that had never been addressed so we made sure everything that needed updated was done.
What capacity are the water tanks?
not completely sure..would estimate 30-40 gallon? Wasn't informed upon purchase of this, but water last 5-7 hours before needing filled depending on how you use it.
What type of generator is on the truck?
No generator! All equipment runs off either propane (which is a tank attached to bottom of truck,) and a rechargeable battery system.
When was it converted into a food truck?
The truck was converted by American catering in 86' when it was brand new.
