Prior Equipment Questions...

Do the steam and food pans immerse completely in the sinks for wash, rinse, and sanitize? Kansas requires this.

They cover over 51%, which by most health departments is the definition of "submersible".

Does this cart use thermocouples for the heating elements? Thermocouple is required per City of Columbus Ohio fire regulations.

Thank you for your inquiry! Our carts do not deal with thermocouples, because we have a manual light system. We could put thermocouples in there, but this would drastically affect the pricing. Just an FYI, we do already have carts operating in Columbus that did not require thermocouples. Be sure you're asking about an open food cart versus and enclosed food trailer. Enclosed is usually where "fire regulations" come into play.

The Big Dawg weighs about 850 pounds.

Is umbrella included?

The umbrella is not included, but we provide an umbrella holder. That's the metal post sticking up in the middle of the cart. Many customers like to pick out their own umbrella, but you can add an umbrella to the order for an additional fee. Inquire about this.
