  1. 1. How do I register as a seller on UsedVending.com Create a free seller profile here. If you already have one, login here.
  2. 2. Is there a registration fee or any hidden charges for sellers? There is NO registration fee, selling fees, or hidden charges. We won’t ask for your credit card or send you a bill even when your food truck or food trailer sells.
  3. 3. How does the selling process work on UsedVending.com We actually broker your items on our website. Once you list an item with us, we handle all the calls, emails and tire kickers for you. We only bring you serious buyers who have cash and are ready to purchase.

    A UsedVending rep will assist in all aspects of preparing both parties for a smooth transaction including negotiations, meeting arrangements, getting titles & other docs in order, and getting questions answered once for many buyers to see.

    Once a buyer is found and has funds ready, we will connect you with the buyer to determine a date for final inspection, payment, and purchase. Both parties will sign paperwork agreeing to terms, and a deposit is made to UsedVending. This deposit will allow us to screen out tire kickers and hold the unit for 14 days allowing the buyer to make travel plans. This process protect both buyers and sellers.

    When the schedule of inspection is agreed, normally the buyer will bring the payment upon inspection so they can pay you and leave with the food truck or trailer once they decide to purchase. If they decline, we will offer it to the next buyer in line.

Often sales are made within the first few weeks after listing but every listing varies. However, the quality of your pictures, the number of pictures, asking price, condition, cleanliness, etc... do make a big difference in buyer confidence and willingness to purchase. So, the better organized and prepared you are in these areas, the faster they move.
  6. 6. What should I do to help sell my food truck or trailer faster? Here are some tips to help you sell your food truck or trailer faster:
    • Provide all the details about your truck or trailer. Specify the brand, model, year, and mileage. List all equipment included with specifications.
    • Remove trash, clean, and organize the inside of your truck or trailer before taking photos or videos.
    • Provide a large, good quality photos of the exterior and interior of the food truck. Refer to this link for tips. The more photos the better.
    • Provide a walkthrough video of the interior of the food truck or trailer explaining the equipment and any other details that should be disclosed. Demo the equipment inside if possible.
  7. 7. Can you help me with pricing my food truck or food trailer? Yes, of course. After you list your item, give us a call or email us so we can take a look at your item and price. You can contact us here.
  8. 8. How will I be paid? When scheduling the inspection, our agent will help you inform the buyer of your preferred payment method. Typically, buyers bring full payment in your preferred form during the inspection. If they accept, they pay and take the item; otherwise, it goes to the next interested buyer.
  9. 9. Will I be shipping my food truck or trailer to the buyer? We often find buyers near you who can come pick the item up themselves. In some cases the buyer will arrange shipping but they are paying for that and assuming the responsibility once their transporter picks it up. In those cases, we can provide an escrow service by collecting funds days before pickup and sending a wire to the seller within 8 hours of pickup. So the seller and buyer are fully protected.
