In 2017, this unit was re-fabricated to what the second picture shows. Absolutely no rust or "soft" spots on the bottom, it has been kept under a carport since it was bought. The firebox also has a custom-made rack in it so the fire is not sitting on the actual trailer. The firebox is not rusted through!
