Our family went though some changes that necessitated the closing of and sale of our food trailer. It was only in use from new for 18 months - designed by us and custom built by a trailer builder. I investigated methods and places to list and sell our trailer. Most all wanted large upfront money for the listing. Some didn't seem very well known and so on. We found Used Vending and this solved our problem. The listing process was easy - very detailed guide to inputting the information to create and excellent listing. Having worked through that with no problem our trailer was listed. I won't sugar coat it but it took a while for the trailer to attract a buyer. Communication with Used Vending was easy and good through the process. When a buyer became available the process was straight forward. Our rep walked us through the process painlessly and I believe that we obtained a good selling price for us and a good purchase price from the buyer. In other words we both probably went away thinking we could have done a little better - an optimal sale. We all think it's easier to sell our vehicles by ourselves. I've owned over 80 vehicles, but finding buyers for specialty food vending trucks is not easy. Even harder still is having to weed through the "just curious" buyers' emails and calls. The internet may reach more people than a newspaper ad in the old days, but the number of time-wasters you have to deal with is also MUCH higher.
