I would like to know what does the ABS light on the dash mean? Is that a serious issue or need to be fixed to drive the vehicle?

The ABS light is short for anti-lock braking system. My mechanic said this light can come on if the sensor gets dirty or dusty. The light does not affect the way the truck drives or runs, the truck is in perfect running condition.
